In early 2024 I worked with the creator of the Denver Orbital Trail (DOT) to design a brand system, this included Logos, colors and fonts. After discussing the mission and values of the DOT I came up with a few ideas and we decided on one to move forward with. The next step was incorporating feedback from the client such as which buildings should be included in the final logo. Since this was a new project a person operation I wanted to give him a multiple logos and an illustration that he could use in future branding.

In May 2020 I got the opportunity to design a logo for a friend who was starting a food blog. Together we brainstormed and I came up with the idea of replacing a letter with an icon to create a unique logo. We have continued to work together on new projects such as Italian-inspired logos for a planned Italian heritage month celebration.

“Courtney was tremendous at taking my vision and turning it into a variety of designs for social media that I will continue to display proudly. Her talent, speed to delivery, and ability to pivot based on feedback make her an asset to any design team.”

In July 2020 I created a logo for the Northeastern student-run athletics magazine Red & Black that I am a member of. The logo was for our new podcast the Howl. Since I was designing for an existing brand I wanted to maintain its integrity while coming up with a unique logo that encompassed the goals of the brand extension.

In May 2021 I was asked by the Unisions, an acapella group at Northeastern University, to redesign their logo. After many iterations this this the final design that filled the wishes of the client as well as staying true to my original design.
