As Design Editor for The Red & Black - Northeastern University’s Student Athletics Magazine, I lead the design team through the production of the magazine. The Fall 2019 issue was the first one I worked on, getting the chance to design almost half of the spreads as well as the cover. My team and I collaborate with the writers, editors, athletes and photographers to meet the deadlines set by our printer to put out an issue every semester. Through this experience, I am learning how to lead a team of designers while also refining my own design skills and what it takes to produce a high-quality print magazine.
